FAQ

1. How far in advance should we book?
It is best to book as soon as possible!
I often book up weeks and sometimes months in advance, especially during wedding and holiday seasons.
For weddings: it is best to book 1 year to 8 months in advance.

2. How do I pay for my session?
A 50% down payment is required to book a session. The remainder is due the day of the session.
For weddings: a 25% down payment and a signed contract is required to book your wedding date. The 75% remainder is due 10 days prior to your wedding day.

Once you book a session or a wedding date with me, your spot is safe and I do not book anyone else during this time.
I accept Cash, Cheque, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal or E-Transfer.

3. How do we choose a location for photo shoots?
I find it is best to choose a photo shoot location that means the most to you!
A place that you frequent often with family/friends or your significant other is a good choice for a spot with more meaning.
Photo shoots in your home are a fantastic choice as well.
Wherever you feel most comfortable, I will go with you!

4. What happens if we have to reschedule?
For outdoor photo shoots, bad weather can be a worry. If on the day of your session the weather is not ideal and you would rather wait for a sunny day that is no problem. However, if you are okay with adventuring into the rain or snow, I will be there right beside you!

If a photo shoot day arrives and you or your little one(s) aren’t feeling the greatest then it is best to reschedule.

There is no additional fee to reschedule a photo shoot.

5. What can we expect to pay for wedding photography coverage?
Wedding photography includes a lot of planning and work before and after your big day.
Packages start at $1150. There are three packages to choose from
and there is always the option for a custom package to suit your individual wedding day needs.
Please contact me for a more detailed price list.

6. Do you offer destination wedding photography?
I have no limits to where I will travel for your wedding.
Contact me with the details of your destination wedding and I will make a custom package just for you!

7. How and when do we receive our photos?
I want your photos to be the highest quality I can provide, which means image editing is something I do not rush. For one hour sessions I try to have your images completed, and your USB stick delivered 3 weeks after the photo shoot date.
For weddings: Depending on the amount of images included in your package, image processing can take approximately four to eight (4-8) weeks.

If you order any prints, products, or any extras or add-ons, this can take an extra one to four (1-8) weeks.
This time frame is subject to change when print-processing and bindery schedules are heavy.

8. Should we order any prints and products?
This is entirely up to you! I do not require you to purchase prints through me.
The images received on your USB stick include printing rights for you. If you would like to order prints through me, I have specially chosen a printing company that represents the style of my work and that guarantees colour calibration of all prints & products. This ensures that each print you receive is exactly how the digital images look on my computer. Personally, I feel that there is something about tangible prints and coffee table books that digital images just can’t beat. These products will be a showstopper in your home and the subject of many tea-time conversations!

9. Will you cry at our wedding?
Most likely, yes.
